My Philosophy

counseling for individuals & couples, managing & problem solving anxiety, depression, sexuality
Hallmark-Morales Counseling, LLC

I believe in the power of positive endeavors, helping and connecting with one another, being open-minded to the world, finding humor in life experiences when possible, and most of all, the persistence of hope. Because of those beliefs, I revolve my practice around helping others uncover the innate potential, strengths, and hope I believe we all possess.  My intention behind this is to encourage growth, connection, self-knowledge, authenticity, as well as to create a safe environment to explore healthy living strategies.

I also believe in learning from our mistakes, recognizing that we are all imperfect and very human in our own unique ways, as well as making the most of our lives and lessons when possible.  Often, we trip over the guilt, shame, and defensiveness that sometimes grows out of life experiences rather than using those experiences as stepping stones toward personal growth.  My ultimate hope in the work I do is to help others find what they are looking for, and if it's their goal, to move toward growth, problem solve, recognize their significance in the world, work towards self-acceptance when possible, and help guide them toward living in a way that works best for each individual.
